Almond Soup
Ingredients:
- Almonds soaked in hot water-20 pcs
- Milk- 1 cup
- Butter- 2 tblsp
- Maida (plain flour)- 2 tblsp
- Salt- to taste
- Black pepper powder- to taste
- Ginger- 1 inch piece
- Green chilies- 2 medium sized and a small slit from center
Method
Step 1
Remove the skin of the almonds and grind them to a thick paste by adding little milk around 3-4 tblsp
Step 2
Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add the maida to it and sauté till fragrant. Add 3 cups of hot water and stir gently but continuously as we don’t want any lumps. Then add in the ginger and chilies too.
Step 3
Add almond paste and the remaining milk. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper and keep tasting till satisfactory result. Cook for another minute and serve in the serving bowl.
Serving suggestions:
Bread crotons and sprinkle little green part of spring onions.
